The goal of the Adoptive Family Resource Center’s Parent Education and Training Services is to provide information and training to families seeking adoption-focused resources.

The Adoptive Family Resource Center is committed to providing adoptive parents with the resources necessary for dealing with the special issues faced by adopted children and their families. The center provides educational and training opportunities to adoptive families. Support groups available for adoptive parents provide an atmosphere for participants to share concerns and receive feedback from those most familiar with issues faced by adoptive families.

      Responsible fatherhood
      Repairing the child’s trust
      Cross-cultural barriers
      Understanding the Adoption Assistance Program (AAP)
